After the great success in Mexico at Exintex 2016, Tonello, global leader of garment finishing technologies, will return in South America at Colombiatex 2017. In Plaza Mayor Medellín the Italian company will present, from January 24 to 26, innovative technologies that combine fashion, ecology and efficiency in the finishing of denim garments. It will also be present at 2 conferences.

Tonello, global leader of sustainable finishing technologies, will be present in Exintex, the most important textile fair of Mexico, from the 18th to the 21st of October 2016, showcasing innovations that will transform the Mexican apparel industry towards automation and efficiency. It will also be present at the First Textile Symposium with its latest advances in denim treatment.
Bringing out all the technical potential of a fabric and giving it added value requires machines and technologies that are capable of conveying emotions. And capable of optimizing the performance of each individual garment. In other words, what is needed is truly innovative technology: Core.
More than 12 years ago we launched onto the market Batik. At that time it was still a rudimentary system to create vintage effects on garments, in a semi-automated way. This year, at Munich Fabric Start, from August 30 to 31, four companies, leader in their respective market segments, have chosen to astonish the world by presenting a total look collection – from jackets to knitwear, from underwear to shoes… – entirely realized with a cool and innovative stretch fabric: DEN/IM.
After ECOfree, NoStone® and Core, denim washing has reached a crucial turning point with UP. This patented technology reduces the liquor ratio to unparalleled levels, saving water and energy and making water filling and draining faster. UP is a revolutionary innovation applicable to all existing Tonello machines, including the least recent. Because Tonello machines do not age, they evolve.
At the end of March, three students of the Jeanschool of Amsterdam were selected for a full-immersion training at Tonello, where they learned about garment finishing and denim processing. During the week, they developed new skills and the right expertise to realize by themselves a creative denim collection, taking advantage of Tonello sustainable technologies. The collection was showcased during Amsterdam Denim Days 2016. A few months later we interviewed them, asking about their experience in Tonello, their thoughts about the industry and their future projects after graduation.
Tonello joined forces with Kaltex for the New York edition of Kingpins, the international show dedicated to denim insiders. Together, they presented the Konscious collection, featuring garments processed ecologically in all phases of production and with an authentic worn-out look. Innovative fabrics, cutting-edge technologies and revolutionary finishing techniques: these were the constituent elements of a successful collaboration. Bringing sustainable fashion to the market.
