When you race, the main thing is not simply to participate, but to distinguish yourself and compete to the end for victory, giving the best and offering something which is unique and memorable.
That’s why we’re super-happy for having reached the final, together with the most important international brands, at the first edition of the ITMA Future Materials Awards, recently assigned in Dresden.
ECOfree, flagship of our research work, was selected between the innovations that mostly contribute to the sustainability of the processes used in the textile industry. A highly-qualified jury composed of personalities from the industry and the research in the textile field judged the innovations presented by companies and universities from all around the world. The impartiality of the vote and the authority of the judges give to the achieved result a huge added value.
This demonstrates that the path we are following since our foundation in 1981, leading to an ever greater sustainability of processes and technologies for textile finishing, is right, necessary, indispensable.
We recently collaborated with our sustainable technologies at Stoll Knitting collection for Autumn-Winter 2015-16, called Urban Natives. This brand new collection is inspired by the native cultures of North America, as well as current sportswear and fashion trends.
“Our collaborations with Tonello and Studio Yarn were successful in every way. With Tonello we explored how to dye the yarn after knitting and with Studio Yarn we developed a yarn which produces a colour gradient during the knitting process”, commented Jörg Hartmann, Head of Stoll Fashion & Technology.
